Bereavement Ministry
The Parish Administrator and/or Secretary meets with the family member(s) to arrange a church funeral, burial, and memorial service for the deceased.
We have a detailed form which address date and time of service performed by either the pastor and/or deacon or both, family member contact information, mortuary information, church music services and develops a church funeral/memorial services program, informs of the church set up and refreshments offered after the service.
The Bereavement Ministers are here to help families of the deceased with the celebration and visitation of their guests on the lanai at St. John Vianney. Our hope is to lend support to our fellow parishioners in their time of sorrow.
