Offertory

Ways to sustain your church with security and convenience.

The offertory supports the daily operation of the church to sustain the worship and prayer services and numerous outreach programs and ministries that serve our parishioners and the community at large. Our offerings reflect a grateful heart that wants to give back to God a portion of what He has given us; in reality, what is already His. This is our opportunity to show God that He is first in our lives.
"Consider this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each must do as already determined, without sadness or compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. Moreover, God is able to make every grace abundant for you, so that in all things, always having all you need, you may have an abundance for every good work." (2 Corinthians 9:6-8)

The preparation of the gifts is also called the “offertory,” and it is the part of Mass in which bread and wine, the "work of human hands," are presented to lay upon the altar to be changed into God himself. Our gifts collected in baskets accompany this offering to God and are laid at the foot of the altar on the sanctuary symbolizing our work, struggles, joys, money, and our very lives.

Offertory envelopes are mailed on a periodic basis to your home every two months. It is an easy and proven way to consistently contribute to the offertory as well as to special and diocesan second collections. Simply drop your check or cash sealed in the offertory envelope inside the collection box, the baskets, or mail them into the parish office.

Building and Maintenance and Major Repairs Funds

This collection helps to defer a portion of the cost for continued maintenance and much needed repairs to our parish buildings and facilities. The aging of our campus requires upkeep so that it can continue to serve our community for years to come.
